Anna & Greg

How beautiful was Anna + Greg’s wedding?

We started the morning with Anna, her girls and Claire getting ready and hanging out in the bridal room. All day the sky flirted with the idea of rain and while most brides would be worried, Anna was so calm and collected. She remained excited and upbeat for the wedding day even though the ceremony was moved to indoors.

After capturing all of Anna’s details and her putting on her dress with her mother and Claire, we then got ready for the first look. (some of my absolute favorite photos from the day)

Of course Claire wanted to peek around the corner during her dad and Anna’s first look. We brought Greg to the porch where he quietly waited on his bride to approach and turn him around. We caught the sweetest moment of him embracing Anna before a few family photos that would include Claire.

As you can see most of the photos from Anna and Greg’s couple photos took place under the porch. We love when we get to shoot against a clean white backdrop so that our Brides and Grooms shine!

We were so excited to work with the Sonnet House. They are everything that we had heard for years and more!! The venue is gorgeous, the staff is so helpful and friendly. They were all so sweet and professional and really kept us on track the entire day. (Special shout out to Ellen who was super awesome during emails and all day) They are some of the best in the business we have ever worked with and we truly can’t say enough about how great they were.

After the ceremony and just before the reception Greg and Anna braved the rain with us for some beautiful shots of them in front of the house. We are so thankful that they trusted us to capture these moments with a little risk of getting wet. You know we wasted no time and broke out the bubble umbrellas because there is nothing that is cuter than a lovely couple taking a stroll in the rain with some bubble umbrellas. I just love the last shots of them in front of the ivy covered fireplace they just seemed to complete the entire day.

Of course the reception was just as amazing as the rest of the day. Drinks and dancing all around! The first dance was so sweet! Anna and Greg were so excited to show off what they had learned in their dancing class they had taken prior to the big day. Something tells me that this is the first dance they will have of many!  The Band was incredible and kept the dance floor hopping nearly the entire night! Anna and Greg could not have chosen a better band for their event The Fountain City Players were so awesome that they actually asked Anna’s dad and Greg to hop on stage and belt out some Berry White. It. Was. Wonderful.

We seriously hope to work with them again!

We are so honored that Anna and Greg chose us to celebrate with them on their big day and to have the privilege of taking these beautiful photos. There were so many moments through out the day that were so special and fun. This is one couple, newly created family and wedding day, that we won’t soon be forgetting and we hope these photos bring them joy for many years to come.

Please enjoy,
