We can’t tell you how long we have waited to photograph this wedding. This wedding was the second in a three wedding weekend which means I have been editing my tail off try to get caught up so I can share this with you! (AH the holidays!)
Goodness was the wait worth it! If we had the all the words ever created we couldn’t describe this day and how crazy beautiful and non stop fun it was! It took place in some of our favorite (new and old) locations in downtown Birmingham. We started by capturing the separate bridal parties getting ready at the Elyton Hotel. If you have yet to be at the Elyton, you should stop what you are doing and head there for your next weekend get away. It is beautiful and modern and every where we turned we found a photo opportunity!
There we met Meredith and Kevin’s families and completely fell in love! We got the most precious photos of her sister and one of her best girls helping her into her dress before we rushed her away to the roof to have her first look with Kevin. Meredith looked like a dream! Her dress was literally made her look like she was floating. One of my favorite dresses of the entire year!
During the first look I have never seen Kevin smile so big! He is a quiet guy so it was hard to say what his reaction would be but the photos of his face were priceless! After taking advantage of the beautiful hotel and doing a lot of couple photos there we all jumped into a trolley and hit the town! We stopped at John’s city Diner mural and railroad park before hurrying over to the City Club to get ready for the ceremony.
As you can see from the photos we got the ceremony was unique in that it was in the corner of one of the window surrounded rooms. Meredith and Kevin got to promise forever with the sun setting over Birmingham and nothing makes us swoon harder than that!
So much detail went into this entire day! Meredith and Kevin really know how to make the most of day they were given! Every moment and detail was perfect and jam packed with fun and precious moments!
The reception was no exception. When I tell you that this was one of the prettiest receptions we have ever had, I mean that! It was crazy beautiful and we got so many fun action shots! The bride and groom honored their believes by lacing the reception and ceremony with events like the Blessing of Challah and The Hora (or chair dance).
All of these things combined made for one magical evening!
We love this couple and their newly combined families and we are wishing them the very best of what life has to offer them! We know they will be able to concur the world together!
We hope you enjoy this preview of their day!
